Location
Penzion Herlikovice is situated in the picturesque valley of the rive Labe, only 300 m from ski resorts Herlikovice and Bubakov, some of the most beautiful ski areas in the country. The location is ideal to discover the Krkonose mountains.
Accommodations
We are open year round. The total capacity is 22 beds with up to 2 cots. We have a suite for 4 people with private facilities including a kitchen. Standard rooms have 2, 4 or 5 beds. Other facilities include a social room for up to 24 people, a fully equipped kitchen, free parking, wifi, outdoor covered patio with a bar and a BBQ, an outdoor playground with a grass court, a pool, a trampoline and outdoor games. You can rent the facilities for your social gathering .

Penzion Riverside is located in Eastern Czechia, 3 km from downtown Vrchlabi, approx.. 130 km north of Prague and 12 km from Spindleruv Mlyn. From Vrchlabi you will take route 295 towards Spindleruv Mlyn, about 300 m past the Strazne cut off you will turn left and cross a bridge over the river. You have arrived.
Accommodations
The penzion has a total capacity of 22 beds with up to 2 cots. We offer 2, 4 or 5 beds in our standard rooms in different configurations and price points. Each room has private facilities. The suite sleeps 4 and has a private kitchenette. A fully equipped kitchen is available for shared use and includes a fridge, a freezer, an oven, a microwave and dishes. Our shared dining room has a TV.
Check-in time is between 3pm and 10pm
Check-out time is 9:30am

Krkonose for families
The mountains offer so many fun experiences. For families with children we have all kinds of picturesque hiking trails and interesting areas to explore. Luftakova trail in Benecko is full of tasks and quizzes. In Medvedi trail in Spindleruv Mlyn the children can meet cute bears. Along the Stopare trail in Plane near Spinleruv Mlyn you can learn how to read animal tracks and at Mechova Pesina you get to smell different flowers of Krkonose. We also recommend a trip up the chairlift to Medvedin mountain that offers a childrens playground with stunning views. On hot summer days you can cool off at waterpark Balduv Svet at the Mlade Buky resort.

Zaly Viewing tower
The Zaly tower was built in 1890 by count Harrach and it is unique for the scenery it offers. You can see down toward the flatlands of Hradec Kralove, Turnov and even Prague when the visibility is at its best as well as the majestic peaks of Krkonose (Snezka, Kotel, Lucni, Cerna Hora, Hance and Vrbaty, Medvedin and many more).

Sněžka
The mountain Snezka at its 1603 m is not only the highest peak of Krkonose but the entire country. At the vast rocky top is where the Czech-Polish border meets, At the north Polish side is where the mountain slopes down toward the river Lomnicka.

Pancavsky Waterfall
This waterfall is located near Spindleruv Mlyv in the Hradec Kralove region. It is the tallest waterfall in Czechia with its 148 metres. It is located on the eastern slope in Labe valley in Krkonose.
The spring of Labe
The spring of Labe is a location in Krkonose that has been marked as the symbolic starting point of the river Labe. It is located at an elevation of 1387 m on the Labe meadow less than a kilometer southwest of the mountain of Violik near Spindleruv Mlyn
Ski Resort Spindleruv Mlyn
The resort operates 5 chairlifts, one is a two-seater (Svaty Petr), three are four-seaters (Svaty Petr, Hromovka and Medvedin) and 11 lifts. The total lift capacity is 18000 people per hour. You can enjoy 25 km of ski slopes.

Ski Resort Benecko
Thanks to its unique location at 900 m above sea level this area is above the smog level for most of the year and therefore guarantees clean and fresh air as well as the most sunny days in a year. The modern ski area offers ideal conditions for families with children. You will find many sunny slopes for beginners and slightly advanced skiers as well as slalom slopes for enthusiasts and two snow fun parks and also a kids skipark (Havrland). They offer a four-seater chairlift, 11 lifts, 2 kids ski belts and two tube tracks. Of course you can also expect snow making machines and nightly skiing after dark. You can also experience cross country skiing, if you prefer, on groomed trails or sledding. The options are endless.
Ski Resort Knezicky Vrch
This resort is located only 4oo m from the historical downtown Vrchlabi on the direct route Prague-Spindleruv Mlyn. The resort has been around since 1992 and during the past few years had undergone many renovations. Every year the services offered here are improved and the slopes are always well maintained. The lifts will take you to the top of Knezicky Vrch which boasts beautiful views of Vrchlabi and Krkonose. There is an easy access to the cross country trails of Vejsplachy from Vrchlabi through Bnecko and onto Misecky which measure up to 50 km. For skiers there are 2 chairlifts, a four-seater Garaveta Golden and a three-seater one as well as 2 other lifts with a total capacity of 4600 pp hour. The slopes all use snow making machines and the terrain is ideal for beginners and families with children.
